Designed as a party-sized pre-mixed that's loaded full of essence of a holiday season, rendering it ideal for your festive gathering. Save the extra citrus syrup for brunch beverages, sweets, or to make another batch of the drink.
Bikini Recipe
Yields 10 guests
For the Citrus Syrup (produces 750ml)
300ml recently pressed clementine juice
200ml recently pressed lemon juice
500g caster sugar
Ingredients for the Premix (yields 850ml, enough for 10)
400ml decent vodka
100ml classic gin
150ml peach liqueur
200ml clementine syrup (from the recipe above)
Fresh cranberries, for garnish
Mandarin essential oil, for finishing
Directions
Making the Cordial: Put every components in a pan, heat until it reaches a gentle boil, agitating to dissolve. After that, turn off the burner and let it to cool entirely. Decant to a sealable bottle, close it and store in the fridge, it will last for up to one month.
To make Cocktail Base: Combine every liquid ingredients in a big jug, leave to sit for one hour, then filter it preferably using cheesecloth, so it's fully clarified.
To serve: Measure 85ml from the batch mix into your mixing glass containing ice, and agitate lightly for one minute to cool it down. Pour into an cold coupe glass or similar, garnish with some cranberries adding the final touch with a quick spritz of mandarin oil above the glass.
